Activities

  • Make a SHEro self-portrait or portrait! Using pencil and paper, or any drawing materials, your child can draw their SHEro! Explain that a SHEro is a female who they think is remarkable – a hero who is a girl! While they draw, ask them: Why is this person special to you? What makes them important?
  • This classic paperchain activity requires simple materials and self-reflection. Prompt your child to respond to ‘I Am’ phrases, writing each one on a separate paper. Cut into strips, then link the chains together and display to always remember your power!
