- Whether you live in a rural community or a city, nature is everywhere! Look up at the sky, down at the ground, off in the distance. What natural objects can you locate? Grass, dirt, pebbles, or stones? Describe the sky, clouds, weather. Can you spot a bird or animal? How about a tree or hill? Exploring the natural environment starts with simple observation and curiosity.
- Dinosaurs are fascinating! Print a coloring sheet or draw an outline of a dinosaur. Ask your child: what color will you make your dinosaur? What might it feel like touching the dino? Is it soft or scaly? Ask your child to describe their dinosaur and even give it a name!
