NYLINE is an email list open to any library or interested individual. It is a forum for sharing information with any interested library or internet user in New York State or elsewhere. The New York State Library uses NYLINE for official announcements to all subscribers. Many also use it to post library-related job announcements.
NYLINE alerts subscribers to messages and policy documents or reports available through the New York State Library's web site.
The NYLINE list is an unmoderated list. As a subscriber, your posted messages are received by over 3,000 readers--leaders in libraries and library systems and others interested in New York's libraries.
To post a message to NYLINE, address it to NYLINE@listserv.nysed.gov.
Mail sent to this address is distributed to everyone who is subscribed.
Subscribers can update their information at any time, including changes to names and email addresses. Often, mail will be forwarded from an old email account to a new one; however, subscribers will no longer be able to post to NYLINE without access to the original account. To update an e-mail address or the name Listserv associates with it, please contact the list owner.
A "digest" version of NYLINE is available by sending the SET NYLINE DIGEST command to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NYSED.GOV. This will give you one cumulative message per day rather than one or several real-time messages.
