Windsor Cote, a prominent citizen of Saratoga County, was born in 1913. Cote worked as an insurance agent and was active in civic organizations, including the Corinth chapter of the Rotarians, where he served as chapter president in 1983 and 1984. An avid amateur bowler, Cote led a local bowling team which competed in the American Bowling Congress. He also served as a volunteer firefighter.
This collection consists primarily of personal papers and ephemera related to Windsor Cote. It includes his bowling league scorecards from 1959 to 1962 as well as a number of American Bowling Congress patches and other bowling-related material. Cote's firefighting service is represented by a folder of papers and a collection of ribbons. His Rotarian activities are documented by a set of newsletters issued by the Corinth Rotary Club during his presidency.
The collection also contains a small assortment of older material, including a nineteenth-century stereo card and a scrapbook of newspaper clippings dated circa 1913-1935.
