Selected Shaker Bibliography

This bibliography, compiled March 17, 1993, does not include all the Shaker-related items in the New York State Library's collections. It does include the titles of original copies of Shaker publications in the State Library's book collection as well as the titles of the microform copies of  the holdings of the Western Reserve Historical Society's Shaker Collection. Thus it serves as a convenient starting point for research on the Shakers. Be sure to check the New York State Library's online catalog. (The letters and numbers in the parentheses are the location codes and call numbers.)
