Recently, the New York State Library completed an RFP process for an online registration software product for the Summer Reading program. The State Library is pleased to be able to offer READsquared at no cost to all public libraries in New York state that wish to sign up for an account for Summer Reading, or to use with their year-round reading program activities. The contract for the READsquared product runs from spring 2018 through December 31, 2022.

online reading program solution is now available for all public libraries in the State. You can request your library’s site from the READsquared Portal by clicking on the link below, providing the required information, and submitting your library’s request.

Your READsquared site will be configured, customized, and delivered within the next 48–72 hours. You will receive an email from with the administrative login information when your site is ready.

You will be able to login into your READsquared site, customize for your library’s unique programs, and submit questions directly to READsquared via the support system using the help menu.
